My Very First Saori Weaving

This is a saori weaving that I did yesterday.  I took the class at Knotty by Nature (see link on side bar)  This is the first creative textile endeavour I have done since making lizard costumes awhile back. (more on that later).  Saori weaving is a Japanese style of weaving done on a special saori loom. You can weave in whatever elements you like.   Here I shaped some pink wool into a heart and wove it in.  The instructor says that Saori weaving reflects your inner self at the moment you are weaving. Was I feeling love?  But then what of the other parts of weaving?  Dare to interpret?
